Welcome! I am so grateful you found your way here. I am a Trauma Sensitive Movement Facilitator trained in the practice of TCTSY (Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga).

As we experience trauma in our lives, our minds and bodies adapt in ways to keep us safe. Sometimes the survival mechanisms that have kept us alive make it hard to live in and feel safe in our bodies. As a Trauma-Sensitive Movement Facilitator, I offer ways to rebuild connection and create safety in the body. Healing is a non-linear journey, I am grateful to be part of yours. 

Statement of Responsibility:

 I acknowledge the trauma that has been caused as a result of white supremacy and it's foundation in most systems in this country, including many social services, wellness, and yoga spaces. As a white facilitator, I continue to process and unlearn my participation in these oppressive systems.  With this in mind, I prefer to call this offering Trauma Sensitive Movement as I feel utilizing the word "yoga" contributes to the cultural appropriation of yoga as well as the commodification of yoga in western culture. I am committed to dismantling the systems of oppression that have caused and continue to cause trauma for many folks. 10% of my proceeds are donated to the Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA) and The Loveland Foundation. 

ABOUT TCTSY

Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga is a body-based adjunctive treatment for Complex Trauma and Treatment-Resistant PTSD. Developed at the Center for Trauma and Embodiment, TCTSY is empirically supported and is considered an evidence-based practice by The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA).
